Linn Exaktbox
The ultimate upgrade
Add an Exaktbox to your system and hear each note, and all the harmonics, played perfectly in time, revealing the natural sound of every instrument.
Compatible with a wide range of speakers and with a choice of performance levels, Exaktbox provides the ultimate in performance and flexibility.
While Linn's integrated speakers have amps and Exakt technology built-in, an Exaktbox, together with additional amplification, allows you to upgrade to Exakt while keeping your current speakers.
Every Exaktbox contains the intelligence required to time-align every frequency going to every drive unit in your speakers, producing a completely linear phase performance. Containing a programmable Exakt digital crossover and separate digital-to-analogue converters for every speaker channel, it’s the biggest upgrade you can make to your system.
If you’ve already upgraded your Linn speakers to Aktiv operation, the Exaktbox simply takes the place of the Aktiv cards or Tunebox. If you currently have passive speakers, add an Exaktbox plus additional channels of amplification to drive every channel in your speakers independently.
Connected via Exakt Link to any Exakt-enabled Linn network music player, Exaktbox can be used with your choice of power amps and Exakt-compatible speakers.
What’s more, every Exaktbox is software-configurable, so even if you change your speakers in the future, your system is quickly and easily updated.

Exaktbox Sub - Exakt Box for Subwoofers
Sometimes you just need more bass, and adding one or more subwoofers is a good way to beef up the bass performance of your system. But until now, adding subwoofers has always meant compromising on the music as they never quite join up with your main speakers.
With this Exaktbox, specifically designed for use with subwoofers, you can seamlessly integrate any subwoofer with your Exakt system, making the whole system phase linear down to 0 Hz. Now you can add bass without compromising on musical performance.
Using a dedicated Exaktbox Sub not only means your subwoofer gets its own precision Exakt crossover and completely linear phase response, it also enables separate configuration of your main speakers and your subwoofer, so the location of each speaker and associated differences in time-of-flight to your listening position can be catered for.
Designed to be hidden away wherever makes most sense for your set-up, the unassuming exterior belies its performance, housing two channels of Akurate-level Exakt crossover and digital-to-analogue conversion. This enables a number of configuration options, from separate left and right channels (using 2 subwoofers) to a mono or stereo connection for a single subwoofer.
